According to a notice issued Thursday (July 1) by FSIS, the current Russia beef certificate may be used until the new certificates are available. There is a delay in the availability of Russia pork certificates, but they will be ready for distribution on July 2. Exporters should check with their inspector to be sure an order has been placed for new certificates. - More

Both FSIS and Russia’s Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Service (VPSS) consider July 1, 2010, to be the issuance date, rather than a port arrival date, for the new certificate. Therefore, beginning July 1, the new certificate must be issued for all pork shipments to Russia. - More

Effective June 22, Russia has suspended imports of beef variety meat from Brazil. The suspension does not appear to be region or plant-specific, covering all beef variety meat from Brazil. - More
Logistics
We have a strong partnership with major shipping lines such as APL, Hyundai, Evergreen, Lykes Lines, FESCO, Hanjin, etc. We only use reliable and trusted cold storage. Our shipments are constantly monitored and at the time of loading digital photographs are taken of the product, container and seals.
While working with different shippers our company can assure the customers of most efficient and timed shipments at a low cost. From USA to Russia product is usually shipped in refrigerator 40-foot containers. In transit the temperature in the container is constant to insure the freshness and safety of the product.

US West Coast – Far East, Russia
As a general rule, transit routes of vessels from the US West Coast to Far East, Russia include a stop at Busan, S. Korea. From Busan feeder vessels go to Vladivostok/Vostochniy.
From Vladivostok feeder vessels can deliver the product to ports of Korsakov, Magadan and Petropavlovsk. Shipments from Vladivostok to Khabarovsk are done via trucks.
Once in three months from port Everet, WA FESCO vessel goes directly to Magadan and then Vladivostok.
US East Coast – St. Petersburg, Russia
Vessels from the US East Coast go to Rotterdam, Netherlands and Bremerhaven, Germany. From there feeder vessels deliver the product to St. Petersburg, Russia. Transit time from Houston, Savannah, Norfolk, Charlston and New York to Rotterdam/Bremerhaven is 13-15 days, to St. Petersburg 21-22 days. Transit from Chicago is extra 2-3 days.
US West Coast – St. Petersburg, Russia
Most producers are located closer to the West Coast of US, due to that a shipping from the West Coast to St. Petersburg is preferred. Vessels travel through Panama Canal to Houston/Savannah and then follow the regular route. Transit time from West Coast to St. Petersburg is 29-34 days.
